2A Croatan @ 3A White Oak --- The Cougars have had only 3 winning seasons since starting up in 1999. Last year was one of em finishing second to SWO in conference.

2A Dixon @ 3A Swansboro -- A dismal record since beginning football, The Bulldogs post only 1 winning season from 1972.

1A East Carteret hosts 2AWest Craven -- The Mariners are a team that has had periods of greatness, 2004-06 and 2015-16. Last two years, average at best.

1A Lejeune @ 1A Jones Sr. -- The Devil Pups have the hardest school to field a football team in the entire state. Won only 1 game the last 5 years. They do however have state titles in baseball and soccer.

1A Pender @ 1A James Keenan -- Some times good but not lately.

2A Richlands @ 2A East Duplin -- Wildcats most current high was in 2001 when they drew the long straw in tie breaker with ED and SWO for a conference title. And yes that was the last victory over SWO in the last 31 years.

2A Trask hosts 3ATopsail -- The Titans an average team at best

2A SWO welcomes 3A Jacksonville -- Game of the week in Onslow County.

Probably not if we really wanted to. Like last year we will probably start subbing in the second qtr. By the 3-4th qtr the third string and cheer leaders were in so a few scores late. Of course we have to have an offense ourselfs. Will find out this friday night.

• Not a good outcome last night. Cant beat anybody with 7 fumbles, 2 returned for TDs by the Cards. We did move the ball on the ground. Outgained JVille almost 3-1 had twice the 1st downs and picked off 2 Passes. 2 of our fumbles were goin in, we moved the pile all night. Its got to get better ball handling next wewek againsr WRH.

I was impressed with Southwest last night. Like you said, turnovers kill. I would love to see you them beat Wallace next week.

Our O-line was our #1 highlight. D wasnt bad giving up only 2 drives for TD, dont know how long the drives were. I suspect short field for them giving the rushing and passing for Jville. The SWO broadcast never did come on line last night ?? Hope they get that fixed. If not WRH is Internet broadcasting this year ... I guess. Congrats to the Cardinals, good win. Good luck the remainder of the year.

Cant believe Lejeune .... I'm happy for them. Put up more points this game (62) than in over 3 prior years total, and a shutout to boot. Really hope they got something and not because Jones has NOTHING.
