My guess is that North Stanly has recognized now that they don't have the talent that they have had now. My prediction is that North Stanly Coaches will be looking to find new jobs after this year as well. I say all of this because North Stanly is horrible this year not because of "how good" West Stanly is. West Stanly is a balanced football team who will finish top 3 in their 2A conference but some how hangs their hat on beating the 1A teams in their county. I'll quit yapping my prediction is 47-9 Colts give North Stanly a whoopin.

Okay so here is my view on that. You really can’t say north Stanly coaches will be looking for jobs at the end of the season because of one year. Look at what that coaching staff as done in the past. County and conference championships and helped get many kids to the college level. If you were to fire your coaching staff after one bad season then west Stanly head coach should’ve been gone after his first season. West is only doing good because they are playing against 0 competition. The conference and the county is young this year. Also you should be winning games when one of your juniors is almost 18 years old and will be graduating at the age of 19. North is rebuilding because they are young. Every school does it. Albemarle went through the rebuilding phase. Every body does it eventually.

Albemarle will beat NS by 3 tds. Mark that on your calendar. As far as the WS coach, he has done a good job of turning around a bad football team. WS is a really solid group of players. Im seeing a 35-0 halftime score and a running clock early in the third quarter. WS-55 NS-0.

Albemarle fans kill me....what have yall done lately? All this north stanly bashing for what? Albemarle will be 4 and 7 and north stanly will be 3 and 8...so if u beat them what does that prove? So what they allegedly recruited last year...your telling me yall didn't do that in your prime? Does beating them make your coaching staff that much better than theirs if y'all beat them this year?
Actually we haven't recruited since the schools merged from city to county. And yes NS has recruited. Just ask Jacoby Emory who was going to be our #1 player back in 2016. They deserve whats coming.
Feel free to enlighten me on how many players AHS has recruited from NS in recent memory? You dont even have to name a players name, just year and position. Lol.
