Article I read implied the official thought he made a "pew pew" hand signal toward the other team after a 1st down catch and run. But EL insisted he was simply pointing for a 1st down. The video to me was harmless.
I saw the video and it looks like it got blown way out of proportion. 15 yard penalty, I get, but not suspension for a game.
Sounds like West Henderson is gonna get a heavy dose of the run game and Beam...

I'm sure west doesn't care with Dollar out of the picture. West comes from a fairly dominant power football conference so I'll be interested in hearing how the mustangs adjust and how the run game compares to that of pisgah, franklin or brevard. Does east lincoln have a radio station I can listen on?

AMD, with an eye for detail, specifics and even micro-specifics, like you’ve got, were I, Coach B or Coach W, your assets would be in Cramerton, Friday night. They have a really nice stadium, and on either side there are high places in the stands you could climb up to and see things from a vantage point.

Lincolnton, we had an excellent program at Rotary today about Stuart Cramer, founder of Cramerton. He was born and grew up in Thomasville. Have a street here named for him. His wife was the granddaughter of John W. Thomas, the founder of Thomasville. Pretty accomplished crowd, that bunch.
WLON will have Hendersonville/Lincolnton. Too bad we can’t have a double header at Lincolnton. West Henderson/EL at 5:30, Hendersonville/Lincolnton at 8.
