He can probably get academics or other types. Chris Douglas, Matt Woodlief, and Justin Harper all went to ACC schools but that was late 90s early 00s
LR is close and has great facilities. Some d2 schools are dumps.

I believe the House vs NCAA Settlement ends the PWO. It increases the amount of scholarships per team, but hard caps the number that teams can have. So a team like Texas A&M will not have 85 scholarships and 40 plus walk-ons. UNC fans will remember after last year that they had to kill their JV basketball program because all rosters have caps and those kids were considered part of the team.
From the looks of it LR has some of the best facilities of any d2 school. They have done a great job.

I really think the whole offer game is screwed up. It needs to be fixed. You have kids that get offers but they're not really offers because they're not official. If a college offers a athlete it should be legit binding offer at that moment. Instead of a lot of semantics.

The biggest issue right now for high school kids is the portal. Colleges (of all levels) prefer and will prioritize transfers over new talent (high school kids). Realistically, a PWO is all most all most really good high school players can hope for, especially in the lower classes of the NCHSAA.
