First teams can't use not going to a bowl against us in recruiting. Second recruits like to be a part of teams trending up because it is an exciting time for the program . And lastly the extra practices this team will get is the BIGGEST reward for this team going forward.

Recruiting will likely be the biggest thing affected.

I do like extra practices, but I could swear that there was a thread that brought out statistics to say that the extra practices don't help in the long run. I don't know how you quantify that given that teams are permanently changing. I do think the extra practices will prove to be invaluable, though.

What the extra practices do is to allow red shirts and younger players to get snaps. As the season is going on I imagine they get very limited snaps. To me I would imagine the extra practices are like a mini spring football camp. And that has to be a good thing.

1.We extend the season, people keep talking about UK football longer,we generate some extra interest
2.Extra practices, the young guys get more work
3.We have the bowl card to play when talking to recruits,Stoops and Co.have done well recruiting so far, give them a little more ammunition and we'll see what happens

Dumbazz UL fans can't say "We get to knock them out of a Bowl Game again" And recruiting should go through the roof now that kids see they can believe in this staff, and the direction the program is going.
