I had a good run. I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed bachelorhood. The boozing, the carousing, the travel, the rampant message board posting, the even more boozing... I've had the opportunity over the last few years to enjoy a carefree, single life. Bo would be proud -- I took full advantage of The Lifestyle. I must say, being a single guy in Jackson is pretty easy. When it comes to the women out there, if you're not an absolute creep, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.<div>
</div><div>Actually, it's more like noodling catfish in a barrel. You stick your hand in there, and you're gonna catch a fish almost every time. You just have to make sure the ones you catch look decent and don't have viral diseases. But here's a warning for all you wannabe grapplers out there: eventually, every one you catch wants to get married and have little catfish. I actually navigated that water pretty well until this year, when finally one of those little suckers latched onto my arm and wouldn't let go. Now I will never noodle again. All good things must come to an end, and fortunately for me, I was ready. I have officially made the transition from the single life back to one of cooked meals, carting kids around, and general adultness. I guess it had to happen at some point.<div>
</div><div>Not to get all rules-violationy, but just as bonus info, we've recently found out we're expecting... And since I had two daughters already, and she had one, come this spring, I will have a wife and FOUR GIRLS in the house with me.Let me recap: January 1, 2011 -- fly to Jacksonville, stay out all night, and watch the Dogs play with hardly a care in the world. October 1, 2011 -- I'm Mike Brady.</div><div>
</div><div>So my time on SPS is limited, but I'll still be around. Keeping up with the latest recruiting and uniform gossip, or developments in the stinky cup situation. Of course, I'll still be enjoying the lookalike and weekly countdown threads. Maybe posting occasionally, but also still contributing to MSU in other ways. I'll be monitoring your progress, especially JohnDawg, RobbieRandolph, VirgilCain, and others of my boys who I don't see nearly as much at George Street or F. Jones these days. Also - to you young punks who don't remember beyond the Croom years. You kids crack me up. The only advice I can give you is this - don't get too high or too low. Especially too high as an MSU fan, because that's exactly when **** will come back and bite you in the ***. Good luck, Godspeed, and God Bless the Bulldogs.</div><div>
</div><div>Lord knows we need it.</div> </div>
