The uniforms looked purple to me. It would've looked better if they were the same color as the regular unis.

I generally liked 'em.... especially the actual state of MS with the ribbon STATE overlay.

Gold shoes... eh... Like it or not... recruits see that and go for it.

..when you play on national TV, & remove the name off the players' back, that is beyond stupid. Considering all the great public relations that took place for this Egg Bowl, robbing the players of their identities to a national audience was a public relations blunder of the highest order.


Relf & C. Lawrence (for instance) played great games, but to every 8 yr. old watching in New York & California, they were both named "Hail State."


Other than that I liked the uniforms.

the players and potential recruits eat that stuff up, and I could give a rip whether or not the colors match. It is a great idea and I would be for having new-look uni's at every Egg Bowl.</p>

I really liked them (though bring back the player names). However, the gold on them should be reserved for the Egg Bowl and that game alone.
