What Will It Take For Those That Refuse to See Your Side of Your Thoughts on Stoops

What is needed to to get the other side to understand the way you feel about CMS and this team? There are some good thoughts on both sides, but basically it's verbal ping-pong. What needs to take place to shift the blind into the light, IYO?

I can only speak to my experiences, but liberal use of the ignore function for unreasonable people helps a ton. Not folk who disagree, mind you. But people who seem to want nothing but to wallow in misery, i have no time for.

I don't expect people to agree with me. I enjoy the discussion. I do wish we would be.more.mature about it more than we are though. Myself included. I allow myself to fall into the getting defensive mode.

Wins and/or bowls...that resolves opinion as those two items are factual accomplishments.

Win 6 or more, improve every game and not free fall to end the season, and get to a bowl and we all should jump on board. If we have a 3rd straight year of free falling, don't continuously show signs of improvement, win 5 or less games, and not make a bowl, then everyone should jump off the bandwagon. At least that is how I see it.

Pretty simple for me. Exactly what you said.

Some of us are still on the fence. The difference between winning 5 and winning 6 this year will likely determine on which side of the fence we ultimately dismount. [winking] JMO

The die is already cast. It was cast when Stoops was hired. This season is dead man walking, just not everyone has accepted it yet.

I'd imagine it'll take 3 or 4 wins and most fans would see the light that a change should be made.

I predict that many saying he needs 6 wins this year will settle just fine for 5 at seasons end and say give him a shot at "one more year" though. Probably irrelevant, 4 wins is this teams ceiling.
