Both are terrible. Clemson looks better but they would be 2-5 against our schedule. KY is better than UNC and BC.

I've never seen these two fan bases arguing on who's worse. Really shows how bad things are in the state of SC right now lol
To date. We could tout Coastal if we beat them by 40 or more.
If you watched their game with SMU you might wonder if their OL and DL have quite on them. The coaching staff is bloated with former players (~18 of them) and thier coordinators are have not been allowed to bring their own assistants (except their DC brought his son along) Fans complain about the Friends and Family plan Dabo promotes and they probably have a point. The coaching staff needs an overhaul and they need to hit the portal for 6-10 impact players and Dabo would need to change his ways significantly to either.
Dabo has been criticized for that for some time now. I think a couple of years ago I saw a chart that showed how many of their asst coaches were former players and it was almost all of them. The ones who weren't had almost zero experience coaching so Dabo basically had a staff of yes men.
Clemson has always been a football power in a basketball dominated conference. They started every season with around 8 or 9 built in wins due to a soft schedule and a roster of highly rated players because Dabo was good at recruiting. NIL and the portal have raised the talent level of the other ACC teams to the point they are now competitive with Clemson in talent and Dabo's coaching and organizational shortcomings are costing him wins against teams he would have dominated three years ago.
I believe that as well but it would not be remotely pretty. without an int or special teams td probably 17-10.
