I don't want to see MCC at their house in Rd1.

I don't want to see NND at their house in a potential Rd2.

I'd imagine based on your projections that Huntley could probably think of other teams they'd rather see in round one than Bolinbrook .

Naz for sure...I feel bad for some of these 6A top seeds, they might have to play some battle tested teams like Naz and Hinsdale South.

For LWN I'd be a little worried about going to Crete Monee in round two. Only loss was against a pretty damn good Brother Rice team and Crete never has a shortage of playmakers

I don't know why you guys don't play North. Why don't you guys play North? I'm petitioning for West to play North in 2017 after we return the favor. Hopefully the DVC gets 1 or 3 more schools to fix the scheduling.

I dunno...@GEPreps, you've been around here longer. Why don't we play North?

My guess is that Glenbard schools have friendly agreement not play, but we played GE JV this year and were thoroughly impressed...maybe it is time for the Glenbard series.

I don't want to see anyone from 8A or Libertyville, but GW will take what comes.

GW used to play south, but it has been quite a few years. I know at least in the last few of those games it was just a blowout. I am not sure if that impacted the decision. It may have also ended at the start of the GW WWS series. 2012 was cool when both West and North were in finals-7A and 8A

Most 7-2 teams in 5A (Naz excluded) would not want to see a 7-2 St. Laurence in Round 1. I think there's a reasonable chance Larry will make a playoff run until they meet up against JCA or Naz.
The sad part is I can envision a Naz at StL round 1 then MCC round 2 with all those CPS schools playing each other.

Awful if it happens. 5A North is going to be a death march either way, especially if JCA goes North.

That could be good for who ever wins through because you then get week 3 and 4 of the playoffs to recuperate.

Thought this would be more of like "who do you not want to see thats kinda under the radar."

In 8A I wouldn't want to see Maine South or Marist. Both look like they will get a lower half of the bracket ranking so if you look at Souc he shows Maine South playing Oswego and Marist playing Notre Dame. Welcome to the playoffs Oswego, and for all your hard work you will get spanked in round 1.

Ehhh I don't know, Oswego isn't one of those programs without a pedigree. Oswego knows how to play football and win.

Looking at your projections... I wouldn't want to play Geneseo in the first round as the lower seed... and if I was Phillips, I wouldn't want to travel there in round two.

I don't want Sf to see Montini or SHG in round one

I would agree with you on Montini, but I have seen SHG play a number of times this year and in my opinion they will have a tough time with the majority of teams in their bracket. I believe they are not up to playing in a loaded 6A bracket, which the southern 8A bracket appears to be

Richards has the potential to be a very dangerous team for a higher-ranked team in Round 1.

Really? I think SHG has shown in the past that they are more than capable of competing with and beating some pretty good teams from up north (Montini last year). I don't think they will coast through the playoffs like last year, but I do think they are one of the favorites to win 6A. We shall see.

It will definitely be a hard run for them to get to the dance unlike the previous years for SHG.Would like to see a Montini SHG rematch.

I guess I base my opinion on them losing a very big part of perhaps the best team they have ever had through graduation, a first year starting QB, a league which (except for Rochester and SHG) can only be classified as "extremely" weak, and a defense which I claim cannot handle what they are about to face in their bracket. I guess the one solace I can give SHG fans is that they will not have to face the Hilltoppers!!!!!
