That is a story about a guy named Dick, nicknamed Shafter, and written by Tool.

The editor challenged all the writers, esp sports writers to write articles for a paper making fun of OM after we beat them in 82 and Sloan being fired. Man I had forgotten about this. Wish I could read the entire article

Another funny story....Kermit Davis told me (while he worked with the Bulldog Club...what ever it was called then) Pace called him on day and said he was going to be in Starkville and wonder if he could stop by a take him out to lunch. Kermit told him that might not be a good idea for him to come around the MSU athletic department. Pace said "You mean it's that bad there?" Kermit said "Yes, it's that bad."

I've never seen it. I've been told I was there, but I'm too young to remember it. Apparently it was the worst call in the history of mankind. It's hard to believe it hasn't been put on the internet somewhere.<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>

I was in my third year at MSU, but due to my extracurricular activities, had not reached the junior status. As a matter of fact, I still was not even remotely close. I had forgotten about this Reflector but remember it well!

that talks about the game- you can clearly see our CB jumping and intercepting the ball- and the Bear WR over his back trying to prevent it. Looking at the pic- you would swear the Bears are on defense. <div>
</div><div>It really is one of the worst calls ever made- and especially when you consider it changed the outcome of the game completely</div>
