I'm ready for football at CWS and hope it's in the upper 90's every game, I move around easier when it's hot

Can't wait for football season but, unlike OP, love summer and don't want to wish it away. Lots of golf to get in before the first football game and lots of cookouts to come this summer. Winter follows football season so I don't mind summer heat at all.

I think we recently passed the 100-day mark before the start of the season. Someone should start a countdown thread.

I hope that all UK players have gotten good grades (no academic casualties), also hope we don't have any off the field issues. Hopefully the guys are getting some good weight training in and getting self-directed work on the playoff.

I like summer but fall is probably my favorite season; football being one of the main reasons why.

Enjoy you're summer then college football.
Fall camp starts in just a couple of months, things will start to get interesting then.

Go into sports hibernation after the last Football game. Generally care little then about sports until MLB season. Now that the Reds are the worst team in baseball, nothing else in sports to look forward to.

Football fall is definitely the best time of the year. You have college football, college basketball, NFL, and the NBA going on. What more can one ask for. I am not a fan of the summer and wish the temperatures would be 50's to 60's year around.

I live in the Deep South and down here football is a warm weather sport. Not unusual to have an afternoon game in the mid 90's. Before TV dictated the kick off times we played a lot of night games with a cool breeze coming off of the Gulf through the magnolia trees.

I love to see the trees change colors but I hate to rake and bag them.

I am ready for football, I am also tired of the heat. In my Heaven it will be late Spring, and early Fall all the time.

I know it's impossible to do but I wish college football was in the fall/winter and nfl was in the spring/summer. I like baseball but being a Reds fan and having that the only sport to watch for 4 months sucks.

The older I get, the more I dislike summer.

Lot of it has to do with the fact that the job I do is hotter than hell.

Fall is Heaven.

I mulch them with the mower, it may not look as cool, but it's much easier and the mulched leaves fertilizer the grass.

I like college football, hate fall and winter! Give me 80's and 90's all day ling!
You must not live in Florida. Summers up North are like Fall and Spring in Florida. Florida is scorching Hot and Humid in the Summer. The Heat Index is around 105 degrees on a typical July or August day in Florida. The tradeoff is Winter in Florida is like Fall and Spring up North which is why Snow Birds come down here in the Winter.

If I had to choose I would probably rather bear the Heat and Humidity of a Florida Summer than the Below 0 temperatures of Winter up North.
