Why shouldn't the fans?

Why shouldn't the fans expect more then their getting from the football coaches at UK? After all, Coach Stoops had some very good things to say about the football program when he took the job.
It's not the fans fault he hasn't built a better team. He has the facilities, the upgraded stadium, and the Assistant Coaches he wanted, or I suppose he wanted them, since HE did the hiring.
A school about 90 miles West of UK does not have the facilities we have, play's teams that are just as tough as the SEC East, and is possibly in the running for a Playoff Spot. What the Hell are we hoping for, "Win 6 games, so we can go to a bowl."
Yes, it ALL goes back to coaching. I could care less who Coach Stoops and his Assistants recruit. I'm really not interested in hearing all the excuses and BS about loss of players, transfers,etc. Every team has the same problems UK has, as far as players, but they get the job done. Get rid of your "Good old boy friends" who can't coach for **** and get coaches who can.
I keep reading some of the comments on here by posters, who keep making excuses for Stoops. Excuses DON'T win games, and WINNERS in life don't make excuses.

Fans should have high expectations. I have them as well but our fans aren't realistic and regurgitate the same ol same ol that other people post. Their not specific nor do they even offer a solution to what they think would improve what ever BS point their arguing against.

We are in year 4, with only 11 seniors. We are a young an inexperienced team. We have lost 3 DL we expected to be here. We are on our 2nd string QB and getting our starting tackle back this week as well.

We have lost 1 game that we should have won. While building a program, your gonna have more of those than you will wins. Our fan base is so impatient their ready to jump ship after 2 games this year. Delusional if you think Barnhardt is going to make a change mid season. Constant whining, bitching, and stupidity gets annoying to people.
At least wait till 7/8 games into the season when it becomes more evident that a change is needed and could be made. By that time, I might be on that wagon as well but at least I can still enjoy the games and not be filled with so much frustration like it seems a lot on here have built up. It comes to a point where that's not healthy.

I can promise you, if the fans quit coming, there will be a change made, and if we lose to Vandy, the stadium won't be half full for the next game.

We are young because Stoops is running a treadmill of kids not developing and transferring or getting passed up on depth chart....that excuse is just plain silly to make for a coach in his 4th year.

Believe it or not it is actually a good thing. It might. It be the best this year, but for long term success it's not a killer. Losing the two we expected to have hurt, but the others were recruited over. Would you rather have a sophomore with more talent, than a senior with less talent. When you have a bunch of youth, that usually means your talent is getting better. They will mature.
