In all seriousness, I doubt that if both teams make it back to the finals that a Tarboro Vs ES score would be within 14 pts. Oh wait, you mean I can't pick Tarboro by at least 14, never mind then.
Until someone knocks them off, I will continue to think Tarboro is the best 1a team in NC.

Gosnell not coming back will hurt East. They will still be loaded but he's a huge loss.

Because your school is in a county that has 37 people living it. Robbinsville is smaller than the neighborhood I grew up in.

Gosnells are staying in Carroll county. That came from an interview that Stephen did with an NC State website after his commitment.
Without the Gosnells East Surry may be a disappointment and only be in the top 5 behind 2 or 3 other teams !
Tarboro, John A Holmes, Murphy, Mitchell, Robbinsville, Swain, Mount Airy. That’s seven teams right there that would hang with East Surry this coming year if not beat em. With the loss of Gosnell I guarantee they won’t be blowing teams out in the playoffs like they did last year. I bet Reidsville “hangs within 14” of them too.
Yep! Stephen Gosnell was their whole offense in my opinion and w/ his departure from ES it’s definitely going to be tough for them!

Without #4 L. Ray & #34 M. Edwards East Surry want be the same team. In my opinion they were the best all around players on the 2018 team. East Surry had some other great players but most were one directional.
Ray & Edwards played for nearly 48:00 minutes a game, and played those positions as good as anybody East had.

It will boil down to QB play of Boaz! He can’t run the read like Gosnell. Will he and can he be an effective passer. You are right, no Ray and no Edwards hurts. Also, will the WRs step up? Not as good as last year but they will still be a top team.
Everyone has seemed to forgotten a few things. East has 2 (without Gosnell) Division 1 recruits, with one being (according to Loman) a Auburn, and VA tech prospect and the other having offers from UNC, NCSTATE and other division 1 schools. With 2 top recruits in 1A how can they NOT be THE TOP 1A team in the State!!!!!!!!!

Listen here THSTurdeBoyz. You think I know little about football... I'll have you to know I had 2 years varsity experience with the MUDDUCKERS pop warner league. I played every game in the last 1.5 minutes of the 4th quarter. Tell me I know nothing. Coach Kilmer , Mox, Lance Harbor and Billy Bob are all good friends of mine. East Surry dominates and if you don't believe that ask their coaching staff.
Without Gosnell, Starmount would have been the team in the state championship game last year. East Surry will be good next year, but they probably lose 2-4 games.

I don't see 4. They'll lose to Reidsville and maybe either Mount Airy or Starmount. I don't think West Stokes will beat them this year. 1 game at least, 2 at most.
