This thread is an example of why our fans get so toxic and negative toward our team. People come on here and post such unrealistic things and it raises expectations to a level that this team just can't reach. Then when we lose and people start feeling disappointed because their outrageous hopes didn't materialize. That leads to disappointment and anger which leads to people posting absolutely stupid threads that are unproductive.

I hate to use the cliche of just focus on this week but it IMO, it makes the ride more enjoyable.

If the Cats continue this run they're on, and make it to Atlanta and win a rematch with Alabama, what would have to happen for UK to make the playoff?

Don't see how the SEC champ could be left out.

Hey Robcatt, The Led Z did a lot of drugs and alcohol...are you related to any of them?

4 team playoff no...8 team playoff maybe...12-16 team playoff definitely...

right now, wouldn't make sense or even be fair...

let's beat Missouri first though before start planning for post season travel...

Think about it...we would be 10-3 with wins over Alabama and Louisville and riding an eight gm winning streak.
We would probably come up just short somewhere between #5-#9 but why is that trolling on the OPS part?
In fact there is still enough football where a scenario would put UK in it.

Washington w
Do even know where Washington and Nebraska started out in the preseason polls ??? We started in the 90's, low 100's, they I would guess started preseason top 25-35. When you win 6-7 in a row starting from there, yeah, you move up, not down. When you start in the 90's, lose the first game to a team like Southern Miss, then get blown out the next game, yeah, you are not gaining top 25 votes beating cupcakes. Surely you where not serious, do not answer that.

As a matter of fact, when we where 4-1 , 5-1 a couple different years, we never sniffed the top 25, because we started way back, lost early.
Washington was preseason #14. Nebraska was #37

Dream big, make the expectations high, demand excellence and eventually Mitch and Co will catch on or lose their jobs.

Respectfully, No. You don't have a snowballs chance in hell. However, don't let that discourage you from staying behind your team which has VASTLY improved over the course of this season. Give 'em hell in every game you have left. Looks like you're going bowling, give them hell too. Sets a good tone for next season. When next season rolls around expect and demand to grow upon what you've done this season. You're definitely headed in the right direction. Don't let it get de railed.
