Good for him. Kind of a no brainer, though. Work for Petrino at A&M where things aren’t great with Jimbo, or stick with UofL and Brohm where there is renewed optimism and a positive environment?
No joke...it's one thing to be an offensive position coach under a Petrino led offense, it's a whole other layer of crap sandwich to be a position coach under Petrino being under a former playcalling head man with his neck on the chopping block.
There was a time most any assistant would jump at a chance to coach at A&M, but things have changed inside the SEC. TxA&M could find itself struggling to compete each week against opponents who take college football just as serious as they do.
Jimbo won a lot of games in the ACC, where FSU enjoyed the benefit of a roster full of 4 and 5 Star talent playing a schedule largely against 3 Star kids, not the case in the SEC.
