Always fun to see small town guys playing on the big stage. Murchison, one of the D-lineman for state that has been in on a lot of tackles today played for East Bladen a few years ago. Along with his twin brother. Those boys were big, good players. They were in WRH conference at that time.
WRH has gotten a lot better since that early season game. We have, too. The key is for us to not let WRH get too many big plays in the passing game an for us to control the clock and score at the end of drives. Going into SC game, we knew that their bread and butter play was that inside reverse, and we shut it down. Gotta play good pass defense against WRH. Gonna be a good one!!!
Very true. We have got to play the pass better. Better believe we will work on that this week. QB at Wallace can sling it if need be
Our passing game is a work in progress. Thomas can throw it, just not that accurate most of the time. We had one completion at SC but it was a big one. Receivers are open a lot, dropped a bunch this year, one in particular SC game. Dont know if they dont practice it enough or were just not that good ?
I'm pretty sure y'all gonna try to ground pound the ball with 3 backs and BJ gonna get 15 carries. WRH got to contain wide and have most in the box. I never said SWO couldn't score,all we gotta do is make them punt 2 or three times. WRH offense is running on all cylinders. We look great!
dogs79.... I agree. SWO will send it with Dogan, Anderson doing the heavy hauling and Jordan hopefully breaking some. We have to use the beef on the line and control the trenches. On defense got to put pressure on the QB and guard the outside as well. Dont know about pass defense. We didnt look good at SC.
You right. Basden will hurt you throwing the ball. but WRH going to do what they do.
The 2 southeastern teams that seem to be peaking at the right time are WRH and Jacksonville.

You didnt see much of our power run first game. Jordan did the damage. I dont think you can handle the BIG BOYS toten the tater.
Maybe not,but our defense will slow y'all down. So what did SC do to slow your offense. If WRH holds SWO to 29 points,y'all lose
They had the beef. Pretty much pound for pound. Good tacklers that could handle it when they got to the ball carrier. They did slow down the run game but didnt stop it. Like a lava flow .... you dont think its going fast but it GOES WHERE IT WANTS TO ....NO STOPPING IT.

This is my last post on this forum til Friday night win or lose ,trust me this game will be won by the team with the defense to stop the other period no doubt Swo defense didn't stop Wrh at all that game the fumble was the difference now I'm not predicting a blowout score the game will be one by one or two stops 4qtr. Drives for either teams,we will take all the name calling lil pups,yard dogs ,what ever yall wanna call Wrh mascot ,but trust me Friday night it won't be a pup nowhere near that field it will be all Bulldogs !! We've already won, lol. That's why I'm going to film your game. I'm just joking lol, just trying to bait anyone so the Viking can have some good bulletin board material. I went thru their schedule. The best team they faced had a record of 6-4 if I'm correct. I believe it was Ayden Grifton. We may not be Reidsville but we're damn sure a really good team. I expect the Kinston game to be a fight and I'm hoping we play better offensively than we did against Beddingfield. Defense wins c'ships and our D can't get much better. I'll take Northeastern in a close one 28-24.

Oh yeah I know, you can only believe half what I say lol. I will say this though, our defense is way better than last year. I've actually been impressed, the coaches have really done a great job.
I believe you can throw out all the records. Yes it's true they've barely beat a lot of teams we would've blown out and went to overtime against a bad Fike team but their coach will have his kids ready to play. On the other hand we do owe them one from the other year and hopefully Coach Moore and the kids handle business and get us to the eastern championship against one of you two.
