He caught it in self defense, as Thompson would have broken his sternum with that bullet thrown right at him, if he hadn't slowed it down with his hands.WOW! Big pick by the freshman. Only sucky part, he didn't take it to the house. Now our offensive will have to punt it right back....

Thompson is horrible now, but that doesn't mean that he can't improve. You would think that a redshirt freshman would have had enough practice reps to be able to execute plays, but this guy struggles just to get a play off before the clock strikes zero.
A win is a win. When the bowl selections are made, nobody will care that WVU struggled in the second halves of games against Baylor, Iowa State, and K-State.What's your deal? We have ZERO 2nd half points in the past two weeks. And you are ripping on their 3rd string QB?

Yes, Skylar Thompson is bad, really bad. He was 13-26 for 169 yards, with 0 TDs and 2 INT yesterday. His two interceptions were huge, as the first one enabled WVU to score what proved to be the Game-winning TD as time expired in the First Half, and the second one killed Kansas State's last drive into WVU territory.
