If the players are tired and the travel schedule is brutal, then why on Earth would Carter and Konate still be in the Game with less than four minutes remaining and a 31 point lead, considering that WVU plays in Norman on Monday?
So the final 3 minutes of the game is going to give them that much extra rest? [laughing] Some of you people kill me.
I'm just thrilled that I returned from Cuba cruise in time to WVU demolish Kansas State, which had beaten 4 teams in the aways-touch Big 12. And that WVU, despite its 6-game troubles, is only 1 loss out of first place. OK, so there are 3 teams tied for 1st, but it's still doable with another run with the 15-game victory string. Also, let's not forget that Virginia's ONLY loss this season is to West Virginia. That's incredible.
If I had a vote and the vote was tonight, I would vote for JC and Sags as co MVP's on this team.
Sags has proven he has an 18 foot jump shot, can hit FT's, and we all knew of his rebounding and blocked shots. Hope he progresses even more next year.
