For some reason, I thought he had already done this. Oh, well. I am perfectly content with who we already have as commits- especially Richardson.

Louisville fans probably think they've 1 upped us right now but in all reality, I trust our staffs judgement of Yeast and they didn't like it.

I thought he was being projected more as a DB. Either way we have a lot of talent at both spots.

Now if he was a defensive tackle I would be more upset.

They could've easily got his commitment back but they didn't.

His dad was mad that the staff wasn't giving him enough attention.
I know the family , talk to Craig's brother almost daily . Craig was and still is upset that wasn't interviewed for the wide receiver coaching position at Ky .

If true, sounds like sour grapes, Kentucky did a lot for Craig too, just playing at UK doesn't mean those things are automatic. The SEC will still be the best and toughest conference with or without Yeast.

Tell his brother to tell him to grow up.

Anyone in their right mind is going to hire a High School Coach to coach WR's in college.

I don't blame Stoops for not interviewing him.

Don't see it as a huge loss, but the optics of having the son of one of the best players in the history of our program go to our biggest rival are really, really bad, especially if he turns out to be a stud (which under Petrino is highly likely)

Even tho Craig is one of my favorite WILDCAT players he was also very much "what about me"!
There is some truth in feeling hurt over UK receivers coach hire!
Ship sailed awhile back on Russ CATS offer!

You're correct...if the Commitment stands he is apparently going to be a Cornerback at Louisville not WR.

Craig was a great player, but kind of surly/salty. Not s public persona type (ref: Randall Cobb)

Notre Dame hired a high school coach to be their head coach and it didn't turn out very well for them.

No ring of honor for Craig. Sorry. This has had some real quirky feeling from get go. I would say Craig Yeast is as about as popular as any Wildcat in the last 20 years not named Cobb or Couch
I would say Craig Yeast was that popular amongst fans. He and Couch were highly liked and loved, most feel that he deserves to be in ring of honor. I don't for some reason now, I don't think they should revisit this. That honor has sailed. Sorry, tired of the Keith Martin, George Adams types like Yeast that their sons don't choose UK. Sorry, selfish but truthful. I would think Tony Delk and Craig Yeast in each respective sports were always the guys that UK fans wanted jersey retired or in ring of honor. Craig I hope does not get in.

I also hope UK staff did not get too egotistical and couldn't make it work due to some hard feelings. I would be disappointed in them. The kid should be at UK and it's a damn shame it did not work out.
I promise with how good his dad was, the kid will be a player, well worth the take. He will be better than some of these stiffs we sign in Ohio or S. Carolina, just wait and see. Never fails this one will come back and haunt you.
