Gave them a cheap score. The 1 team in the country is having to work against us. It's a positive
Take away that recovered fumble for a TD and its a one score game. Could be a lot worse.
You are a joke. Everybody here expected us to be down thirty right now. If Johnson just takes two sacks they lose a touchdown and we get a field goal. I'm so tired of hearing idiotic fans like you being louder than all of the reasonable fans.
Thought we played a solid first half myself. Johnson holds the ball too long but love the defensive and WR effort.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the coaching in this game. We are severely out- matched, and we're making them work.
looks to me like 2 teams that know there place and just want to get thru a game with no major injuries or incidents.
the games you mention were embarrassing, but this game is not like those.
Alabama rolls in second half, reserves clean up and Tide prevails 45-10 as Saban mercifully takes his foot off the pedal. No one gets hurt and Cats move in to 5-7 at best.
That was my point to the op , that you can't complain about coaching this game but could those two .

We are out matched, on the road , and in a place where the home team rarely struggles. Our kids are making tackles, in position to make plays and are playing their hearts out.

What did you expect, big nutz? Should we be taking overrated Bama to the woodshed?
Our guys showed a great effort against the #1 team in the nation with our backup QB. The defense made Alabama work and until they have became fatigued had been getting stops. This team is improving and will have a chance in the next three games no doubt.

The Staff is not SEC caliber. Stoops would do well at a smaller program. At UK we need a real qualified staff, not a whim.
We need to fire him and move on after this season. Putting it off is only going to make it that much harder to move forward.

Yes we need to beat AP, Vandy, Mizzo, and maybe Miss St. Be competitive with Ga, Tann, and Louisville. Now come on be honest, did you expect to be competitive with Alabama? I thought 34-6 gives a little hope for the future
We held Alabama to 27 offensive points.
We held Alabama to less yards than everyone we've played but South Carolina.
Our offense struggled against what Bama fans are calling one of their best defenses ever.

I do have one question..why did we run a play with 1 second at the end of the first half? And a run at that..just asking for possible disaster. Didn't understand that. Also think the coaches have to make sure Johnson knows to a. Throw ball away b. Hold on to ball when we are deep in their territory. Still think we are maybe making progress, but still see questionable calls at times.
No one expected Kentucky to go into Tuscaloosa and win. We have never done so, and Bama is the #1 team and UK is 2-2.
So when we lost by approximately the margin that the gamblers predicted, how is that anything but what was expected?
The same thing will happen next week. Vandy's defense will scare us enough to make the score close, but their offense can't possibly win the game. So when we beat Vandy by a score or two (which will be the spread) instead of blowing them out, how will that be any different than what was expected?
