2024 in-state receiver Perry Thompson commits to Alabama

Foley (Ala.) 2024 wide receiver Perry Thompson didn’t need to think twice about an offer from in-state Alabama.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder committed to the Crimson Tide on an unofficial visit Friday, a little over a week after receiving an offer from Nick Saban and Co.

Thompson chose Alabama over offers from Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, Georgia Southern and more. He is the Crimson Tide’s first commitment in the 2024 cycle.

As a sophomore last season, Thompson amassed 45 catches for 565 yards and one touchdown.
