The folks from SEC Shorts have done it again, this time parodying Alabama’s dominance over Tennessee. The Crimson Tide took down the Volunteers for the 15th year in a row on Saturday, winning 52-24.

Alabama moved to 7-1 on the year while Tennessee fell to 4-4.

The skit begins with the Tennessee Volunteers character, clearly beat up, walking into a courtroom. His lawsuit’s objective: Release Tennessee from their requirement to play Bama every year.

The Alabama character stands accused of ruining the Bama-Tennessee rivalry by monopolizing all the wins.

“Tennessee is a proud and historic football program,” the Volunteer starts. “And while it’s true, we’ve fallen on hard times these past 10 or so seasons, we finally have positive momentum in this program. How do you expect us to get back on top when we have them *pointing to Alabama* every season?”

The Crimson Tider pulls out a chart to make his case. The chart displays Alabama’s 15-game streak versus Tennessee, 14-game streaks versus Arkansas and Mississippi State, 13-game streak versus Ole Miss, and so on.

“While it’s true, we’ve been completely and totally dominating Tennessee, we’ve been pretty much doing that to everybody,” Alabama says.

A Texas A&M observer objects, cooly, “Not everybody.”

Alabama continues to make its case, reciting a famous line from a former Bama student. Irvin Carney expressed his hatred of the Tennessee Volunteers in 2007 saying, “They low down, they dirty, they some snitches.”

The judge ultimately rules in the Tide’s favor. He claims the Volunteers need to put on their “big boy pants.”

The judge also requests that Tennessee stay behind to discuss Jeremy Pruitt’s lawsuit. The Vols fan pulls a bottle of mustard out of his arm sling. However, the bailiff tackles him before he can throw it at the judge.

Former Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is threatening to sue the university. The program fired Pruitt for cause but he’s seeking a settlement over his buyout. He led the Volunteers to a 16-19 record in his time and hasn’t received any of the $12.6 million buyout.

The mustard is, of course, in reference to Vols fans hurling bottles of mustard, among other things, at Lane Kiffin after their Week 7 loss.
