In November, Arkansas fans got a treat when five-star center Baye Fall committed to the Razorbacks. Fall’s final group included Auburn, Seton Hall, and Rutgers.

Fall is the No. 12 player in the 2023 On3 Consensus. He is the No. 3 center in the 2023 class and the No. 1 ranked player in Colorado.

Fall averaged 17.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks playing with the Colorado Hawks on Adidas’ 3SSB Circuit. He shot 50.3 percent from the field. Fall also led the 2022 NBPA Top 100 Camp in rebounding and scoring.

The Arkansas signee plays with Denver (CO) Accelerated Prep. I caught up with Baye Fall after a recent live viewing.

Baye Fall

What can the fans at Arkansas expect from you?

Fall: “A lot of energy, because that is one of my strengths, energy, and leadership. They’ll get a lot of defense from me and just excitement.”

What was their recruiting pitch to you throughout the process?

Fall: “They would help me with my game. Telling me things I needed to be doing to get ready for college basketball. They weren’t ever pushing me, just helping me.”

What do you expect your role to be as a freshman?

Fall: “I’m just going out there to work hard and grow. Obviously, I want to play a lot, for sure. But I’m going out there to develop and help the team win.”

What was your favorite part about your visit?

Fall: “The energy over there is different. The people out there, the fans, it was crazy, and that just really intrigued me. How they showed love the whole time, it was great.”

What is your message to Razorback fans?

Fall: “I’m really excited, man; I wish I could go tomorrow. I can’t wait to step foot and play in Bud Walton, the energy in front of 20,000 fans. I can’t wait for that, and I hope they’re excited as well.”
