Buford (Ga.) four-star cornerback TyShun White is visiting Auburn this weekend for the Tigers’ matchup against No. 22 Penn State. He announced the news on social media.

White is the No. 237 overall prospect and No. 31 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 35 player in Georgia.

White will be making his first visit to Auburn since Nov. 27, 2021. Multiple Tigers targets will be at Jordan-Hare Stadium this weekend including Montgomery (Ala.) Carver five-star defensive lineman James Smith and Anniston (Ala.) Anniston School four-star cornerback Jayden Lewis.

The 5-foot-11, 185 pound defensive back is working on finalizing his top schools.

“There are a lot of schools right now,” White told On3’s Jeremy Johnson. “September 1 is when they can talk to us legally. After September 1, I should have a lot of schools narrowed down. That’s when they can really contact me.”

White has 35 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment. Georgia Tech currently leads for White’s pledge at 28.1%. Auburn has the next-best odds at 16.7%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

White has an On3 NIL Valuation of $17.4K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
