Ahead of his visit to Auburn this weekend, Andalusia (Ala.) four-star running back J’Marion Burnette has picked up an offer from the Tigers.

He is the No. 157 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe, Mobile (Ala.) Baker four-star quarterback Josh Flowers, Tuscaloosa, (Ala.) Northridge four-star cornerback Travaris Banks, Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County School four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick and Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star wide receiver Mario Craver are the only Yellowhammer State recruits ranked ahead of him.

Jimmy Stein of BamaBCS is a big fan of the running back.

“6’1, 210 is incredible size for a sophomore RB,” Stein said. “He is a power back, first and foremost. On the inside runs, he runs through contact. Arm tackles will not do. He is powerful. He has good vision inside. Even in traffic, he sees the crease. If there is not room, he simply creates it. If his size, strength and power were his only traits, he easily projects as a Power Five back.”

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
