Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School quarterback Holden Geriner had a watchful eye on him Friday night, as Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin came to town.

Geriner, a consensus four-star in the 2022 class, has been committed to the Tigers since February. He pledged to Harsin and Co. just two weeks after receiving an offer and was Auburn’s first commit in this cycle.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder held more than a dozen offers, but was quickly sold by Harsin as the team’s quarterback of the future. As a junior at Benedictine, Holden Geriner completed 179 of 264 passes for for 2,770 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also added five more on the ground.

Auburn has three commits in the 2022 On300: athlete Omari Kelly (No. 208), wide receiver Jay Fair (No. 259) and defensive lineman Caden Story (No. 284). Harsin’s first full class as head coach of the Tigers ranks No. 35 nationally and No. 13 in the SEC.
