Auburn running back Tank Bigsby is giving back to his teammates in big way, with an assist from Beats by Dre and Apple. Ahead of Auburn’s matchup with Missouri this Saturday, Bigsby gifted his fellow Tigers each a set of Beats headphones in another example of a player using NIL to benefit his team or community.

The junior, speaking to his teammates at the Auburn football auditorium in front of a table with a cloth covering the goods, Bigsby shared a heartfelt message.

“Boys, I just want to start by say I love y’all guys and I’m thankful for being on this team with you guys,” Bigsby said in the video posted by Auburn. “I just wanna say, this opportunity is one time and it’s great and it’s a blessing, man. God, he took me — i’ve been through so much and just stepping over those steps I’ve been through, getting where I’m at now with you guys, it’s amazing. And I just wanted to let you all know, I know you all said it’s hard to lock in, it’s hard to stay focused, so I think this right here will keep y’all focused and locked in before y’all have to do something … So this is what I got to keep y’all boys locked in.”

The reaction was predictable — a chorus of “OOOOOs,” claps and cheers from his teammates before they swarmed the front to get their headphones.

“Christmas came early we got Santa Claus right here,” said junior offensive lineman — and Bigsby’s high school teammate — Tate Johnson in the video. Suffice to say this act is not going unappreciated in the Auburn locker room.

On the box, Bigsby included a personalized message that he read aloud to his Auburn teammates:

“There is no “I” in team, but together we’re FAMILY. BROTHERS, an ARMY! A GROUP OF GUYS THAT RAE UNSTOPPABLE WHEN TOGETHER! ALWAYS REMEMBER IT’S US VS. THE WORLD! – TB4″
