Severn (Md.) Annapolis Area Christian EDGE Joshua Hardy flipped Wednesday from Navy to Boston College.

Hardy originally committed to Navy in June. He received his offer from Boston College last week.

Hardy is the 23rd commit in the class for Boston College. He is the third EDGE commits after Youngstown (Ohio) Chaney three-star Clive Wilson and Manvel (Texas) three-star Kivon Wright.

The team has two four-star commits in Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco safety Sione Hala and Springfield (Mass.) Springfield Central wide receiver Joseph Griffin Jr.

Griffin is the highest-ranked individual commit at No. 364 according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the second-best recruit in the state of Massachusetts.

The Eagles have a top-40 class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
