Central Michigan offers 6-foot-7 eighth grader Tristan Comer
Central Michigan extended an offer Friday to Tristan Comer, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound eighth grader from Freeland, Mich.
Comer is a two-sport athlete in the Michigan town, playing both football and basketball.
He is still a long ways away from deciding what team and sport he wants to play in college. But he is now has one offer in his back pocket.
Comer already has elite size for a football player even if he never grows another inch.
Alan Popadines of Prep Redzone Next wrote that Comer is a very impressive athlete and is not only tall but also stronger for his age.
“One look at Comer and you know you’re dealing with a future big time athlete when he gets to high school,” Popadines wrote.
