Phenix City (Ala.) Central four-star EDGE Tomarrion Parker received an offer from Clemson on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.

Parker, a 6-foot-4, 245 pound pass rusher, decommitted from Penn State on Aug. 9. He is the No. 120 overall prospect and the No. 17 EDGE in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 12 player in Alabama.

The four-star recruit has more than 25 offers. Programs who have extended offers to Parker include Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

Parker has only taken one official visit in his recruiting process so far. It was to the Nittany Lions on June 17.

Clemson currently has two EDGE rushers committed in its 2023 recruiting class, which ranks No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. They are Washington (D.C.) St. John’s four-star David Ojiegbe and Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy four-star AJ Hoffler.

Parker has an On3 NIL Valuation of $118K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Tomarrion Parker On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Tomarrion Parker:

“Productive player as a junior for state champion runner-ups in Alabama’s highest classification. The definition of an active player. Totaled 23 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a junior. Consistently chases backside and is constantly in pursuit of the football. Polished pass rusher as well that has extremely active hands and understands how to use leverage to his advantage. Registers as a good, but not elite athlete in the combine setting and looks to lack high-end length at the position. One of the highest floors in the class due to being so technically sound and refined as both a run defender and pass rusher.”
