Four-Star DL Hevin Brown-Shuler commits to Clemson

Four-star defensive lineman Hevin Brown-Shuler of Atlanta (GA) Pace Academy announced his commitment to Clemson Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-5, 300 pounder chose the Tigers over Oklahoma, Michigan, and South Carolina.

“What ultimately made me choose Clemson was the  development as a football player and as a man,” Brown-Shuler said. “The opportunity to play for the best head coach in college football as well.

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Brown-Shuler

“I have a great relationship with all the coaches,” Brown-Shuler said. “I’m closest with the DL coach, Nick Eason. His plan is for me to play both inside and out.”

The Peach State defensive lineman joins coach Swinney and the Tigers’ top 15 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by Tavoy Feagin, Noah Dixon, and others.

He commands double teams on almost every play and that “makes everyone’s job easier” because it takes extra bodies to attempt to slow Brown-Shuler down. Away from football, Brown-Shuler said he enjoys spending time with his family. He also likes to cook, travel and learn new things. His favorite meal is lean steak and garlic mashed potatoes.
