WATCH: Clemson 4-star QB commit Christopher Vizzina shares senior highlights

Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian four-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina concluded his senior season on Oct. 28. The Clemson commit threw for 1,828 yards, 16 touchdowns and seven touchdowns, while running for 341 yards and 11 scores.

As the Early Signing Period approaches, Vizzina shared the top plays of his final year of high school football on Wednesday night. He has been pledged to the Tigers since April 12.

Vizzina is the No. 38 overall prospect and No. 6 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Alabama.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound signal-caller is currently the second highest-rated recruit in the Tigers’ 2023 recruiting class behind Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson four-star defensive lineman Peter Woods. Clemson’s group is currently No. 10 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the ACC.

Vizzina has an On3 NIL Valuation of $538K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

“Quarterback with translatable tools and the best feet among top signal callers in the 2023 cycle. Has ideal size at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Consistently shows twitchy, explosive movements in his lower body. Plays with outstanding feet and has some of, if not the best pocket movement and awareness of top quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. A loose, athletic mover. Comfortable stepping up into the pocket or moving outside to escape pressure. Shows a strong arm in game and camp settings. Primarily delivers from the same arm slot on most passes. Was among the more efficient passers among top 2023 quarterbacks as a junior, though he did not have quite the number of attempts as many others.

“Has the burst and top-end play speed to present a considerable run threat, rushing for 15 touchdowns as a junior. Shows the speed to pull away against one of the faster high school teams in the Southeast. Plays against some of the stronger competition among top quarterbacks nationally. Still relatively new to the position after starting to play quarterback as a 9th grader. Also significantly younger than many other top quarterbacks with an April birthday.”
