2024 Michigan City (Ind.) three-star running back Jaden Hart received an offer from Duke on Wednesday. He announced the news on social media.

Hart is the No. 382 overall prospect and No. 29 running back in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Indiana.

On3 rates Hart higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he isn’t ranked in the 2024 On300, he is the No. 24 running back and No. 3 player in Indiana.

A 6-foot-0, 180 pound tailback, Hart currently has six offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for Hart’s commitment. Purdue is leading at 35.8%, but Iowa State isn’t far behind at 31.3%. Minnesota has the third-highest odds for Hart’s pledge at 26.8%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Duke’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commitments. They are Towson (Md.) Loyola Blakefield athlete Jayden Moore and Trenton (N.J.) The Lawrenceville School athlete Austin Stull.

Additionally, the Blue Devils’ 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 47 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the ACC. Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan three-star EDGE Semaj Turner is the highest-ranked member of Duke’s class as the No. 590 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Hart has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
