2024 Laguna Beach (Calif.) three-star tight end Ryner Swanson received an offer from Duke on Wednesday. He announced the news on social media.

Swanson is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus. However, On3 rates him higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though Swanson isn’t ranked in the 2024 On300, he is a three-star recruit, the No. 24 tight end and No. 38 player from California.

The 6-foot-4, 230 pound prospect has received nine offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oregon has a 67.2% chance to land his commitment.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Duke’s 2024 recruiting class contains two commitments. They are Towson (Md.) Loyola Blakefield athlete Jayden Moore and Trenton (N.J.) The Lawrenceville School athlete Austin Stull.

Meanwhile, the Blue Devils’ 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 47 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the ACC. The Blue Devils’ highest-ranked prospect is Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan three-star EDGE Semaj Turner, the No. 590 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Swanson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
