2024 4-star RB Taylor Tatum offered by Duke
2024 Longview (Texas) four-star running back Taylor Tatum received an offer from Duke on Friday night. He announced the news over social media.
Tatum is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 5 running back in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 15 player in Texas.
On3 rates him even higher. Per the 2024 On300, Tatum is the No. 59 overall player, No. 4 running back and No. 11 player in Texas.
The Blue Devils were Tatum’s 20th offer. He has notched offers from some of the top programs in college football including Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M and USC.
Duke’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commitments. They are Towson (Md.) Loyola Blakefield athlete Jayden Moore and Trenton (N.J.) The Lawrenceville School athlete Austin Stull. Meanwhile, the Blue Devils’ 2023 class contains 26 commitments. It ranks No. 46 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the ACC.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for Tatum’s commitment. Baylor has the best chance at 30.5%, while Texas A&M isn’t far behind at 26.7%.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
