Duke offers 2024 3-star IOL Jake Guarnera
Ponte Vedra Beach (Fla.) Ponte Vedra three-star interior offensive lineman Jake Guarnera received an offer from Duke on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.
Guarnera is the No. 354 overall prospect and No. 26 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 53 player in Florida.
On3 rates Guarnera higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2024 On300, Guarnera is the No. 47 player in Florida.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound prospect has received 14 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, NC State holds a very close lead for his commitment at 31.7%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Duke’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commitments. They are Towson (Md.) Loyola Blakefield athlete Jayden Moore and Trenton (N.J.) The Lawrenceville School athlete Austin Stull.
Additionally, the Blue Devils’ 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 47 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the ACC. Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan three-star EDGE Semaj Turner is the highest-ranked member of Duke’s class as the No. 608 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.
Guarnera has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
