Florida offers 2024 On3 top-15 OT Guerby Lambert
West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial four-star offensive tackle Guerby Lambert received an offer from Florida on Wednesday night. He announced the news over social media.
Lambert is the No. 50 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Massachusetts.
On3 rates Lambert higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 1 offensive tackle.
The 6-foot-7, 285 pound prospect has received 14 offers from programs including Auburn, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State. On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons recently provided insight into his recruitment.
“Over a dozen schools have offered Guerby Lambert, the No. 12 prospect in the 2024 On300,” Simmons wrote. “He is going to add more offers, and at this time, he is open to all. The only school he has visited to date is Boston College. He did not take any summer visits and he is still in the early stages of his recruitment. He is communicating with most schools on his offer list, but schools like Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Penn State are three that have connected well with him. He could visit one or two schools in the coming months, before the season ends, but Lambert doesn’t plan to get out much until the calendar rolls over to 2023.”

The Gators’ 2024 recruiting class currently contains two commitments. They are Atlanta Woodward Academy four-star linebacker Myles Graham and North Palm Beach (Fla.) The Benjamin School four-star running back Chauncey Bowens.
Lambert has an On3 NIL Valuation of $83K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

“Tall, long offensive tackle who looks to have a high end frame and movement skills. Worked at right tackle as a sophomore. Plays with outstanding bend and flexibility. Has a flat back in his stance and drives off the ball low to create a leverage advantage against smaller defensive linemen. Uses his long arms to control defenders at the point of attack.
“Shows encouraging reactive quickness in his pass set. Will need to continue adding functional play strength and honing his pass blocking technique as he progresses as a high school prospect. Looks like one of, if not the top offensive lineman early on in the 2024 cycle.”
