Florida State offers 2024 4-star EDGE Jaylen Harvey
Potomac (Md.) Quince Orchard four-star EDGE Jaylen Harvey received an offer from Florida State on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.
Harvey is the No. 269 overall prospect and No. 19 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 10 player in Maryland.
On3 rates Harvey higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 265 overall prospect and No. 8 player in Maryland.
The 6-foot-1.5, 225-pound pass rusher spent last weekend on a visit to Penn State. He included the Nittany Lions among his top 11 schools and plans to announce a top five in just over a month.

“March 11 is my birthday and I plan to name my top five schools then,” Harvey told On3’s Chad Simmons on Jan. 9. “Those schools will be the ones I take my official visits to. I will take those visits in the spring and summer, but wait until after my senior season to announce my commitment.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Penn State has a commanding lead for Harvey’s commitment at 97.6%.
