Tom Crean isn’t just a basketball savant, he knows his Taco Bell as well. Today on Twitter, Crean took it to the fast-food restaurant over one of their most controversial decisions.

“It’s not the same at Taco Bell without the Mexican Pizza,” tweeted Crean. “Removing that item was not a good move.”

Taco Bell has tried to implement an overhaul of their menu, much to Crean’s dismay. In addition to losing the Mexican Pizza, they also rid themselves of popular items like the Meximelt and the chili-cheese burrito.

While Crean has found success as a college basketball coach, perhaps he could transcend that if he could find a way to bring back the Mexican Pizza. He wouldn’t just be a great coach, but a fast-food legend if he is able to get Taco Bell to bring it back.

Recently, Taco Bell debuted a new menu item — the crispy chicken sandwich taco. As seemingly every fast-food giant gets in on the chicken sandwich war, Taco Bell decided to get in on the action.

Evidently, it’s not enough to get Crean’s attention. After fans replied with more vintage menu items, Cream continued reaching out to Taco Bell, hoping for a change.

“That too,” Crean replied in response to another concerned customer asking for the return of the Chilito. “Also the meximelts. Come on Taco Bell! It’s time for the return of the vintage menu items.”

Moreover, another menu item Crean could call for the return of is the Fiery Dorito’s Locos Taco. While it was brought back for one day when the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Championship, a permanent return should be in the cards.

Tom Crean is attempting to lead a new era of Georgia Bulldogs basketball. However, leading a return of Taco Bell’s vintage menu may be taking precedent.
