Sophomore defensive back Javon Bullard has been working his way back into the rotation for the Georgia football team. His missed last weekend’s game against the Missouri Tigers as part of an interdisciplinary decision by the football team for his recent DUI arrest. In his most recent press conference, Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart said that Bullard has been working his tail off in practice, even if it’s been with the scout team.

“He’s paid real good attention to detail. He practiced with us last week, even on the scout team. And a lot of the things carry over. So, he was on the scout team. Took reps. And he was on scout special teams. The great thing about Javon is he competed like he was down there going as hard as anybody. That’s very indicative of his character and what he stands for. He practices really hard regardless of what his role is. And hopefully, he’ll continue to do that and not skip a beat,” Smart said.
