The Georgia Bulldogs enlisted the help of a champion this weekend. Prior to the traditionally heated game between Georgia and Georgia Tech, the Bulldogs had Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker narrate their hype video.

“Georgia. Known for its rich history. It’s unique culture. The unrivaled spirit. And once again known for being world champions,” stated Snitker. “The state of Georgia knows a thing or two about grit and determination.

“We know the way forward is by battling through adversity. The heart of the south has more heart than you can find anywhere else. A state united in it’s love for each-other. For its teams. That is, until the last Saturday of November. Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate.”

Snitker continued: “You better approach it with a champs mentality. Now, let me tell you what it takes to be a champion. It takes consistency. Doing the little things better. It takes determination. Tying yourself and your desires to the logo on your hat. And in the end, it takes confidence — walking on that field and performing to a standard. And you know what the standard is.

“You’re either elite or you’re not. Sound familiar? So for the trophy, for the brotherhood, for the great state of Georgia — lets play ball.”

Snitker led the Braves to their first World Series victory since 1995. When he decides he’s had enough of managing, a new career creating hype videos may be the perfect fit after showing his stuff here.

Georgia-Georgia Tech History

Georgia has dominated the rivalry with Georgia Tech — leading the all-time series 68-41-5. Additionally, the Bulldogs have defeated the Yellow Jackets in nine of the last eleven showdowns.

This year’s game is extra special — the rivalry showdown wasn’t played last season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As a result, both schools limited their schedules to conference play. Luckily, the two programs are destined to meet again on Saturday.

Georgia has been dominant over Georgia Tech in recent season. Now ranked as the No. 1 team in the country, the Bulldogs will be looking to join Brian Snitker and the Atlanta Braves at the top of their respective sports.

In order to do so, the Bulldogs have to defeat the Yellow Jackets. As the rivalry returns, gigantic stakes come along with it. The two teams face-off Saturday at Noon EST on ABC.
