Kansas offers 2024 4-star LB Wendell Gregory
Marietta (Ga.) Walton four-star linebacker Wendell Gregory received an offer from Kansas on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.
Gregory is the No. 109 overall prospect and No. 10 linebacker in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 19 player in Georgia.
On3 rates Gregory higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Gregory is the No. 35 overall prospect, No. 3 linebacker and No. 7 player in Georgia.

A 6-foot-4, 208 pound prospect, Gregory has received 16 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment. Tennessee is the current leader for Gregory’s pledge at 29.2%. South Carolina has the next-best odds at 25.6%, while Louisville has the third-best chance at 21.9%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
The Jayhawks currently has no commitments in their 2024 recruiting class. Meanwhile, their 2023 class is No. 83 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 10 in the Big 12.
Gregory has an On3 NIL Valuation of $56K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
