Fresh off a national championship, Kansas has released its non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 season.

The Jayhawks officially tip off the regular season Nov. 7 with a game against Nebraska-Omaha after an exhibition contest against Pittsburg State, a Division II program in Pittsburgh, Kansas. All told, Kansas only has two true road games against Missouri on Dec. 10 and against Kentucky on Jan. 28, the latter as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

Two of the marquee matchups is a showdown against Duke in the Champions Classic and against Seton Hall in the Big 12/Big East Battle. Kansas also will play in the Battle 4 Atlantis in The Bahamas in November.

The Jayhawks defeated North Carolina in New Orleans to win the national championship last season. After the year, Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun heard their names called in the 2022 NBA Draft, meaning Bill Self and Co. are going to have to replace that production.

Still, Kansas got to work on the recruiting trail, bringing in four top-50 recruits — led by five-star Gradey Dick, the No. 11 player in the nation, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Former Texas Tech guard Kevin McCullar Jr. also entered the fold via the transfer portal.

Here’s the Jayhawks’ full non-conference slate.
