Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy four-star EDGE Dylan Stewart received an offer from Louisville Friday. He announced the news on Twitter.

Stewart is the No. 27 overall prospect and No. 4 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Washington D.C.

The 6-foot-5, 325-pound pass rusher holds 39 offers.

According to On3’s Chad Simmons, there are multiple programs to watch when it comes to Stewarts recruitment.

South Carolina is high on Stewart’s list and he has already visited Columbia twice,” Simmons wrote on Feb. 2. “Georgia is another SEC school to keep an eye on. Stewart plans to be back at both schools in the spring. Michigan and Ohio State are two Big Ten programs that have his attention as well.”

Last October Stewart told Simmons that he plans to take official visits during the summer and that he’d like to be committed ahead of his senior season. He also told Simmons that Penn State is another school he is interested in.

“One thing that stands out to me is their freshman,” Stewart said about the Nittany Lions. “When they get freshmen, their freshmen (are) good and they do good.”

“They play guys early and they’re not just there,” he added. “They’re actually making plays. They’re actually making an impact.”

Stewart currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $102K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Dylan Stewart On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Dylan Stewart:

“Disruptive pass rusher who looks to be one of the top EDGE prospects early on in the 2024 cycle. Shows a quick first step. Fires off the ball with the ability to quickly redirect with lateral agility. Dips and bends around the edge, showing some encouraging flexibility and curvilinear movement. Also plays low and gets underneath the pads of opposing offensive linemen.

“Has good size and stature checking in at 6-foot-4.5, 211 pounds with a 81-inch wing-span prior to his junior season. Will need to continue progressing from a strength and technical perspective as he continues through his high school career.”
