Louisville (Ky.) New Albany Senior three-star interior offensive lineman William Spencer has announced his commitment to Louisville. He chose the Cardinals over Kentucky, Michigan State and Mississippi State.

Spencer is the No. 452 overall prospect and No. 38 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Indiana.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound recruit has made two visits to Louisville. They were on the weekend of Jan. 28 for an official and Jan. 14 for an unofficial.

There are now three interior offensive lineman in the Cardinals’ 2023 recruiting class. They are Spencer, Douglasville (Ga.) South Paulding four-star Madden Sanker and Virginia transfer John Paul Flores.

Spencer has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
