Former LSU guard Brandon Murray cocked one back and sent in an absolutely legendary dunk on Wednesday night against the Villanova Wildcats. Murray plays for the Georgetown Hoyas currently and he made sure that he’s a name to remember for the 2022-2023 college basketball season. Murray caught the ball at the wing, took a few dribbles, and then took off from outside the restricted area, absolutely baptizing Villanova’s Jordan Longino. Longino slid across the restricted area, and waited just outside of it on the right side of the circle, hoping to draw a charge. That’s when he was put on a poster by Murray, who came barreling down the wing with some serious steam. Then, he rose up, cocked the ball back, and sent it in with ferocious authority.

Check it out below.

Make no mistake about it, that will be a tough one to top the rest of the way for the 2022-2023 college basketball season. What a play by Murray. He sent that one down with some serious force!

His best performance this year came against the Depaul Blue Demons on December 29th, when he erupted for 29 points and grabbed four rebounds.

Coming out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Murray was one of the most highly touted guards in the country.
