LSU head coach Ed Orgeron goes full Hulk once again, this time for a commercial.

Coach O gives Eli and Peyton Manning a shirt-ripping tutorial in his cameo for the former New York Giant quarterback’s show Eli’s Places. He also seized the opportunity to take a light-hearted shot at the Tennessee Volunteers.

In the viral clip, the Louisiana natives gather in the LSU locker room. The Mannings inquire about Coach O’s vast collection of T-shirts. The head Tiger says he gets so fired up during the season, he has to keep around plenty of backups.

Setting up a classic Ed Orgeron move, the younger Manning asks Coach O how fired up he’d be to have him on campus. Naturally, Orgeron rips the shirt down the front – almost entirely.

The jab at the Tennessee Volunteers comes when Peyton Manning asks Orgeron about his technique. Can he use pure brute strength or does he require a back-stage pre-cut of the shirt?

“It’s all natural, baby,” Coach O says. “This ain’t Tennessee.”

The elder Manning lets the comment slide with a shake of his head.

Eli Manning feigns an attempt to rip his button-down, which fails. The brothers then “head to the weight room” to presumably get their shirt-ripping muscles up to Coach O’s level.

The Volunteers don’t have an opportunity to respond to Ed O’s jab on the gridiron this season. However, the two teams will face off in 2022 in Baton Rouge. Per the newly released SEC schedule, LSU and Tennessee will clash in Louisiana on Oct. 8, 2022.

You can bet Peyton Manning will be in attendance.

LSU, Coach O bouncing back from week one loss

More than a season removed from their national title, the LSU Tigers sit with a 2-1 record in 2021. After a 38-27 loss to UCLA in week one, Coach O and his squad bounced back with wins over McNeese State and Central Michigan.

A big game looms Saturday for LSU. They’ll attempt to grab their first SEC win of the season and they’ll do it on the road in Starkville. Mississippi State is also 2-1 and coming off a two-point loss to Memphis.
