Long Beach (Calif.) Long Beach Poly four-star cornerback Daylen Austin showed why opposing teams should throw at him at their own risk on Friday night. The LSU commit did this by recording a pick-six against Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan.

As Jordan’s quarterback sent a ball to the right side of the field, the ball was tipped. It went directly to Austin, who sprinted untouched into the end zone.

Austin is the No. 125 overall prospect and No. 13 cornerback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in California.
