Johnson is not ranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus and the 2023 On300. He is 6-foot-3 and weights 295 pounds.

The Terrapins’ 2023 recruiting class now contains 20 commitments. It ranks No. 59 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 12 in the Big Ten.

Johnson is Maryland’s second defensive lineman pledge alongside Brooklyn (N.Y.) Canarsie three-star defensive lineman Dillan Fontus.
